A 1950s-Themed Sock Hop Benefiting Casa de los Niños
Rock Around the Clock for a Cause!
Grab your poodle skirts, cuff those jeans, slick back that hair, and get ready to twist, jive, and stroll the night away! Join us for a sock hop packed with classic 1950s (and 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and today) fun, toe-tapping tunes, sweet treats, and plenty of retro charm.
Because it’s a SOCK hop, bring new socks of any size. Your donations will benefit Casa de los Niños, a Tucson organization that has served the community for more than 50 years by helping prevent child abuse and neglect, supporting family stability, and promoting child well-being.
· Date: Saturday, September 19th
· Time: 2:00 – 4:00 pm
· Location: St. Paul’s United Methodist Church Life Center
· Suggested Donation: a new package of socks (any size)
· Dress Code: 1950s fabulous—poodle skirts, leather jackets, saddle shoes, rolled-up jeans, and cat-eye glasses encouraged!
Dust off your dancing shoes and come ready to boogie! This family-friendly evening will feature music, dancing, vintage-style fun, and a whole lot of community spirit. Whether you’re a hand-jive hero or just coming for the good company, there’s a spot for you on the dance floor.
So don’t be a square—join the hop, bring a friend, and help make a difference for local children and families!
